The flowers don’t look overly effective on a white background so we have discussed attaching them to something else in order to solve this. This would also make the transportation of them easier- if they were all attached to a large piece of card or paper it would just be a case of putting them straight in the window and securing them.

As an experiment we decided to use scrap cardboard…to make up for the amount of non recycled cardboard we used for the flowers and leaves! However after attaching the cardboard to the wall with intention of completely covering it, we realised that it was actually quite complimentary. The brown tone seem to draw out some of the colour in the other features making it less garish!
