Provocative women

My research has made it clear that embroidery is traditionally associated with a version of femininity that embodies a domestic women, who is submissive in the home and too the males in her life. I felt that i could oppose this idea with my imagery and so i have explored the idea of women being put in a provocative pose, or doing provocative things.

I am also interested in exploring anonymity-and whether this will affect the the way the piece is seen- can more people to relate to it? Does it imply that the women is an object rather than a human?
