Although i’d had an induction into black and white film photography before and really enjoyed i felt that if i ever wanted to use it in my work i may find it difficult to work independently. I found the theory of the session a little bit confusing, although i’ve worked a little with photography getting to grips with aperture and iso, was a little bit of a struggle. I enjoy the fact that with film you can set up a shot but you never know what it’s going to come out like, it’s the most accurate way a moment can be captured. After plainng around with the camera in the short while we were taking photographs i quickly knew my way around the camera. I feel that if i needed to use photography and had the time, i would definitely use more of the film processing area. The process felt slow but once you get to the development area it becomes fascinating. When i have some pennies to spare i think i’ll invest in a film camera so i can try out some experiments of my own.
